Découvrez les résultats de la méthode de dégustation de thé en 4 étapes de Nio Teas

To fully appreciate the Matcha Yame Okumidori Miyako, we examine its aroma, taste, texture, and color. The result is an exceptionally smooth, sweet, and full-bodied matcha that reflects the depth of Yame’s terroir.

Étape 1 - Observer l'apparence

The matcha powder has a rich, jade-green hue and a silky texture that reflects the high chlorophyll content of the shaded Okumidori leaves. Once whisked, it forms a thick, frothy layer of foam with a creamy consistency and vibrant green shine.

Étape 2 - Évaluer l'arôme

The aroma is smooth and inviting, with notes of cocoa powder, warm cream, and a hint of floral sweetness. This comforting fragrance sets the tone for a matcha that feels both refined and deeply satisfying.

Étape 3 - Dégustation du thé

The taste opens with a rich, milky sweetness that transitions into a smooth umami and light vegetal character. Hints of soft florals linger in the background, while the cocoa undertones round out the flavor beautifully. It’s a perfectly balanced matcha, creamy, mellow, and slightly floral without any bitterness or acidity.

Étape 4 - Évaluer la sensation en bouche

On the palate, the Matcha Yame Okumidori Miyako feels luxuriously thick and velvety. The body is full and smooth, with a rich sweetness that glides over the tongue. Despite its density, the finish remains clean and refreshing, leaving a subtle milky sweetness and a touch of floral complexity that invite you to take another sip.

Certifié JAS

Our matchas are produced according to the Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS): Japan’s most rigorous organic certification system. While only a small fraction of Japanese teas meet these standards, every Nio Teas product is either JAS-certified or verified pesticide-free through independent testing. With less than 5% of Japanese teas truly pesticide-free, each cup of Matcha Yame Okumidori Miyako represents the dedication of producers who choose quality, not shortcuts.
